Maranta Leuconeura has many varieties, and one outstanding cultivar is Maranta Kerchoveana, famously known as Maranta Rabbit’s foot and Maranta Maranta Green Stripe. Plant owners love Maranta Kerchoveana because of its stunning foliage patterns, mint green color with dark green big spots that look like rabbit tracks across the midrib. Moreover, the contrasting silvery-blue color on the lower side of the leaf makes this plant more unique. Like other prayer-plants species, this also folds the leaves in the night for prayer.

Description
Light
Maranta grow best in bright, indirect light, but are hardy enough to tolerate some shade. Avoid direct sunlight however, as this may burn or bleach the leaves.
Watering
Keep the soil moist at all times, but do not overwater or allow the plant to sit in soggy conditions. Watering with soft, lukewarm water is recommended.
Temperature
Maranta leuconeura prefers average to warm temperatures from 18-27°C, but can cope with as low as 15°C. Avoid cold draughts.
Humidity
Increased humidity levels are a must. Mist frequently. Brown leaf tips are a tell-tale sign that the surrounding air is too dry.
Feed
Apply a balanced fertiliser once or twice a month during the growing season.
Height & Growth Rate
This plant is a slow-grower which typically reaches an ultimate height of around 30cm but can spread up to 50-60cm and will start to trail over time.
Toxicity
The Rabbit’s Foot is non-toxic and therefore safe around children and animals.
Origin
